I bought the BR HD DVD JUST before the Warner announcement that they were dropping HD DVD came. Up at that point it seemed the 2 formats were kind of neck and neck and co exist be around for a while. Now it definitely seems dead, and I guess stuff that is currently HD DVD exclusive will make it to blu ray.

I still use a graphics quality CRT display to do my photography with, and will be sorely disappointed when it dies.

I'd rather sign the no-"Then Came Bronson" DVD Petition! That program sucked!! Yes, but was it any worse than today's offerings? I gave up on TV years ago. I don't remember too much about the show, but one segment sticks in my mind. He hooked up with some gal, and she refused to do any work.

10.4 came on a dvd not cd normally. holding down c should boot from a cd, though not dvd if your ibook only has a cd drive. does the install disk open when the ibooks running?
